With cabins like the AJ Cabin, Lions Cabin, and JD Trail Cabin, guests can enjoy modern comforts such as air-conditioning, heating, and bathrooms, while still embracing the natural beauty of the camp. Each cabin provides ample space for groups, ranging from 32 people. For outdoor gatherings, the Emmett Thompson, Tom Varble, and Purcell Pavilions feature picnic tables and covered areas, ideal for meals and activities. The approved fire pit adds a traditional campfire experience, making this section an excellent choice for retreats, reunions, and group events.
AJ Cabin
The AJ Cabin offers comfortable accommodations for up to 32 guests, making it perfect for larger groups. With both air-conditioning and heat, it's a year-round option for retreats, youth camps, and family reunions. The cabin is equipped with an interior bathroom and showers, adding convenience and comfort to your stay at Camp Wilkes.
Hervey Purcell Pavilion
The Hervey Purcell Pavilion offers another option for outdoor activities with six picnic tables under a covered area. This pavilion is a great spot for group meals, nature-based activities, or even as a staging area for outdoor adventures at Camp Wilkes.
Tom Varble Pavilion
Serving as an additional outdoor gathering space, the Tom Varble Pavilion is equipped with six picnic tables, making it ideal for group meals, activities, or just relaxing in nature. Whether hosting a camp-wide event or a small breakout session, this pavilion offers plenty of space for all your outdoor needs.
Lion's Cabin
Much like the AJ Cabin, the Lions Cabin provides accommodations for up to 32 people. It also includes air-conditioning and heating, ensuring a cozy stay no matter the season. With an interior bathroom and showers, guests can enjoy the rustic charm of Camp Wilkes without sacrificing modern comforts.
JD Trail Cabin
The JD Trail Cabin is the largest of the cabins, comfortably sleeping up to 40 people. Like the other cabins, it features air-conditioning and heating, ensuring a comfortable environment. While this cabin has a rustic touch with an exterior bathhouse and showers, it still provides the modern amenities needed for an enjoyable camping experience.

Emmett Thompson Pavilion
Adjacent to the AJ Cabin, the Emmett Thompson Pavilion is a spacious covered area featuring six picnic tables, perfect for outdoor dining, meetings, or group activities. It offers a shady spot to gather, relax, and enjoy the fresh air and scenic views of the camp's natural surroundings.

For larger events and gatherings, Hiller Hall offers a spacious kitchen and dining facility with seating for up to 160 people, making it ideal for group meals, receptions, or indoor activities. Hart Hall provides a versatile space for meetings and receptions, complete with a small kitchenette for light refreshments. Guests can also enjoy the camp’s swimming pool, a refreshing spot to relax and cool off during their stay, further enhancing the outdoor adventure experience at Camp Wilkes.
